Organic Solitude
2017

Organic Solitude is a capsule collection drawing on the structural logic of plant forms: cross-sections, cellular geometry, and growth patterns translated into garment construction and surface treatment.
The title refers to a state of quiet withdrawal into the natural world, where observation of organic structures becomes a form of creative solitude. The collection takes plant anatomy not as ornament but as a design language, finding in the hidden geometry of stems and seed pods a basis for cut, silhouette, and detail.

The collection comprises a laser-cut TPU coat, wide coated-cotton trousers cut to the full width of the fabric to avoid waste, and a contrast knit sweater. The silhouettes are architectural and deliberately unhurried, working against the logic of reduction. The colour palette moves from deep forest green to off-white, with the coat’s translucency adding a layered quality to the whole.
